40 Motel 9750 West Washington Street Indianapolis IN 46231 The 40 Motel is no more. The most of the building has been torn down. Now the old stopping place is a used car lot. Fortunately, the owners of the car dealership saved most of the old neon sign. The sign now reads "M & T Auto." I'm happy to see that the Route 40 shield remains, although it is really out of place. The Oasis Diner is next door.
