A few notes: Some of these
files are quite large and may take a while to download.
I am also providing the number of citations for each
category to help you guage download times. On average,
a 56K modem will download one or two citations a second;
broadband will handle out 10-30 citations per second.
Also, since many highways are known
by different names, I use the same query (database
search) two or three times. For example, the results
for Route 1, Post Roads and the Ocean Highway all
display the same results. Likewise, the results for
the Lincoln Highway, Route 30and Interstate 80 are
the same. So, don't be alarmed if your results page
title isn't the same as what you selected - it is
supposed to be that way!
