The
Route 40 Scrapbook provides a look at Route 40 over
the years. The scrapbook displays scenes from the road
from vintage postcards, matchbook covers, brochures
as well as older public domains photographs.
Although I plan to include a sampling
of my contemporary Route 40 photographs (I have about
8,000 pictures from the past 20 years), for now I am
focusing on the distant past.
If you have a photograph, postcard or
other vintage souvenir that you would like me to include
in the scrapbook, please
contact me. Of course, I will give you full credit
for whatever you send in. Don't worry about image size
(err on the side of sending in something too big). I
will most likely resize and tweak your pictures so they'll
fit in the design of this web site.
