World's Largest Trash Can (gone)

Baltimore, MD 21230From 1998 to 2003 a giant trash can stood in front of Baltimore's waste management processing plant. The can was removed when it began rusting and falling apart. Eighteen feet tall and twelve feet in diameter, this galvanized container was an exact enlarged replica of the real thing. It had a 15,300 gallon capacity and was in the Guinness Book of World Records.
