Bulk Listings
If you would like to submit more than 5 listings for business, please submit a spreadsheet with the following columns (all of these columns are required unless otherwise noted). With the data in this format I can easily import it into the database that drives this web site. The spreadsheet should include:
- Name of the business
- Type of business
- Physical address (no P.O. boxes, suites numbers, alias, or pseudo addresses)
- Second address line (optional)
- City
- USPS state abbreviation
- Zip code
- Telephone number (optional)
- FAX number (optional)
- e-mail address (optional)
- Web site address (optional)
- Longitude in a decimal format (see below)
- Latitude in a decimal format (see below)
The longitude and latitude data is a MUST. Without this information, don't even consider submitting a list. This information must be submitted in a decimal format (40.128876, -120.8283). Note that the longitude has a negative value. I cannot accept data in the degree/seconds/minutes format (N 40° 19' 45", W 120° 43' 21"). An easy way to get this information is to use Google Maps and to right click on the business location and choosing What's here? Google Maps will return the longitude and latitude information in the right format (you'll still need to separate the longitude and latitude, but at least you'll get the data in the correct format).
