John Kennedy Lacock Braddock Road Postcard No. 23: Old Stone House on Winding Ridge, near Addison, Pa.

1908

Addison, PA

Caption:

Winding Ridge probably derived its name from the course of the Braddock Road from Bear Camp to the Old Stone House, on the western slope, now owned by William Miller. The front part of the house was torn down some years ago. It was one of the landmarks in the early history of the old National Pike, and is situated on Braddock's Road about two miles east of Addison.
