Washington Monument
600 North Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21201-5118(410) 396-1049 Designed by Robert Mills and completed in 1829. It is 178 feet tall and made of marble from north of Baltimore.
The monument can be seen throughout north central Baltimore. From one location on the Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) it looks like the statue of Washington on top is relieving himself.
