I hope Frank adds another entry for the town of Greenup, the "Village of Porches" with many of its downtown buildings having an upper and street level porch. The Candy Kitchen was a great lunch stop. I had the The Greek's Famous Fried Balogna Sandwich which has been on the menu since 1927. My wife and I had phosphates with our lunch. Her burger seemed to be freshly made, not a formed and frozen patty. We also bought a pound of fudge. There is a pretty neat gift shop down the street. All in all a great place to spend a little time.

Just an additional note about Greenup, my wife says the gift shop was the Greenup Mercantile. The vault inside and the night deposit box outside led us to conclude it had been a bank at one time.
