Near a stone quarry on the National Pike, one fourth mile west of Mile Stone '104 to Wheeling to Frostburg 16,' the Braddock Road crosses the National Pike on Negro Mountain. A sort of traverse road was cut over this mountain. The scar on the mountain is quite marked.
