Caption:

A short distance from the mouth of Opossum Creek, just west of New Haven, these beautiful falls may be seen. A short half mile below New Haven was the 12th encampment - 'the camp on the east (west) side of the Youghiogheny,' on lands formerly of Colonel William Crawford, later Daniel Rogers.
